The first step to booking a cake smash session is to get in touch via the Contact Me form here. We can chat about what you have in mind and figure out whether I’m the right fit for you. I can walk you through my process and answer any questions you may have. A session fee of $50 is all that's required to secure your cake smash session.
Once your session is on my books, I will send you a detailed prep guide that covers everything you'll need to know in order to rock your session! Three weeks after your session, you will receive an online gallery of fully edited proofs from which to select your desired collection. Cake Smash collections start at $397.
In this digital age we live in, I know just how important it is to get your images off of hard drives and onto your walls, transforming your house into a home. Therefore, all of my collections include gift print credit to use in the online store. Fine art prints, canvases, albums, framed prints, portfolio boxes and more! The choice is yours.

Because we promise ourselves we’ll always remember... their tiny fingers, creases in their toes, gorgeous lashes and tiny pursed lips. Then one day we wake and our baby is turning one! Then two, then three - they've changed so much! Then they're off to school. Then leaving home. Where did the time go?
You then look back at the photos of yourself during pregnancy... "My gosh, I was glowing!" - a smile fills your heart. Then the photos of your precious newborn... "ohhh, wasn't she just adorable" - your heart skips a beat. Then your family photos when the kids were little... "haha, such cheeky little things!" - your eyes welling with tears of love and cherished memories...

WHEN?
Cake Smash sessions are a great way to celebrate your baby's first birthday. Imagine the excitement in your child’s face when they’re given an entire cake to play with, all to themselves!
Please consider booking well ahead of your baby's first birthday, as I often book out many months in advance. At such times I do keep a waiting list, however, so please don't hesitate to contact me anytime - I just may be able to fit you in.
WHERE?
Cake smash sessions take place at my purpose designed studio. A huge 16m2 wall of light ensures perfectly diffused and consistent daylight balanced light, regardless of the weather conditions outside!
Let me take care of the details (and the mess!) while you sit back and enjoy the heart-warming moments as your one-year-old realises that they can eat the big squishy cake in front of them.
To ensure your baby leaves the studio squeaky clean, the shoot will conclude with photos of your baby in a bathtub, surrounded by bubbles… what fun!
WHO?
That's me, Kristielle, with my two cheeky little boys, Hunter and Canyon, and Husby Shaun. As a passionate artist, I LOVE capturing the special moments of family life, and running my photography studio in Bundaberg provides me the creative space to do just that! In a 'former' life, I was an Early Childcare Educator for 10 years. It was there I developed a LOT of the skills I now use every day when working with your little's in front of the camera.
Our family lives on a tranquil 20-acre property on the Kolan River, where we are slowly learning how to DIY reno our forever home (fun!). When not in the studio, I love spending time with my fam, reading, beaching, exploring in our 1970's van, and enjoying a coffee (or pink gin, depending on the time!).

Connection, love and intimacy - I want you to truly 'feel' something when you swoon over your photos - true emotions. There's very few "smile for the camera" shots. Quality for me is a guiding principle that begins with an exceptional experience and extends through my artistic vision to quality images and printed keepsakes. Premium fine art papers for my prints are standard (museum grade Hahnemühle) - in this regard I am truly unique in the area. I don't pretend to be the cheapest photographer in the area, but I do pride myself on quality and being the best value.
